I truly do love this album. Which is why I feel guilty about giving it a B, but to be impartial to other albums, I applied the same rules I apply to others. Laufey is truly one of my favorite artists with how she's taken a genre, that is most commonly attributed to older people and revitalized it for younger people.
I love how Forget-Me-Not reaches into her Icelandic roots whilst staying true to her style, Sabotage brings an chaotic value to the album, and Tough Luck brings a rage-filled value that lets you just let out all of those feelings.

When I heard this song for the first time when it released as a single I was instantly in love with it. The clap breaks give it a unique experience when preformed live, which even though I couldn't see Laufey live on tour, It's beautiful to see the audience interacting.
Released on June 25, 2025.

Realizing you threw someone away just because you waited a bit too long is always devastating, and this song really shows that. Plus the song was apparently written from a male perspective[1], a unique showing for Laufey.

A truly perfect song, with a bilingual twist. Hearing Icelandic so easily intertwined with English feels truly amazing.
Hidden as a love letter to a guy, it's secretly a love letter to Iceland. With a reference to a black sand beach, and the Icelandic lyrics translating to "Don't forget me, even though I'm leaving. I love you. I'll love you forever."[1]

When breaking from a draining relationship sometimes you truly wish that you could warn yourself before you got yourself into it. But, you can't change the past so you try to change the future. That's what this song is, a warning to an insecure and jealous lover's future partners.
